Got down early to watch the kites in a very small channel, but seemed faily windy.

I was keen to try SteveBus' BIC Veloce. So we rigged up a 7.0 and 7.5 as these seemed about right. Just as the tide reached a nice hight and we were ready, the wind dropped. All the kites packed up as the wind stopped completely. Sarah was cursing but we waited for a bit.

Then the wind changed direction and we had a reasonable sail. We stayed there for about four hours, and the sun shone throughout.

I found the Veloce a really nice board, and it easily supported the 7.5 without all the weight of my old Phoenix. So I parted with some money. I'm sure I'll have plenty of fun with it.
